Midwest Institute continues to be part of the American Medical Technologists’ School Recognition Program.
Midwest Institute is formally recognized by American Medical Technologists (AMT), a national certification agency for allied health professionals. Students completing the Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting and Healthcare Information Specialist programs are eligible to sit for the appropriate AMT examination.
AMT is a nationally and internationally recognized nonprofit certification agency and professional membership association representing over 56,000 individuals in allied health professions. Since 1939 AMT has been helping its members meet the challenges of their professions, and fostering their professional and personal growth.
AMT’s goal is to promote and maintain a high standard of excellence for allied health professionals and support their role as part of the patient healthcare team.
